At some point you will evolve past people, things and even places. It can be painful to let go and say good bye to those we leave behind and quite often, the people we evolve past can be afraid, hurt and upset.
Is it also difficult because moving our vibration “higher” implies someone or something is “beneath” and we can end up a bit sanctimonious about our “evolution”. I take it as a positive that this leaves me conflicted. I am aware of it so I know I’m not perfect but I haven’t yet figured out how to get past it and be 100% compassionate to those whose journey is different. Sometimes I want to drag people forward and say “Look! Isn’t where I am so much happier/more abundant/better (Hello judgement!) than where you are?!”
The truth is, it may be better for ME, but that doesn’t mean it’s right for someone else.
In time we being to spot those working with the same drive and passion and even those working at a higher vibration than us who we wish to emulate, hello mentor. I think the trick is to watch those further ahead, learn from them and master the skills so we can move up to join them. At the same time, keeping an eye on those watching us, ready to reach back and help them rise too, without judgement or the superiority we may sometimes feel. After all, your journey is just that, YOUR journey.
Keep moving forward, keep evolving. Never stay still.
